Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + super

Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of mission-critical communication and information systems to recruit a Systems Engineer – Service Delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Air Traffic Management systems and support high-profile customers across Australia and the South Pacific.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and support of integrated Aerodrome Digital Tower systems. Acting as the first point of contact for technical service issues, you will troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve hardware and software problems while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to system improvements, technical documentation, and collaboration with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to technical enquiries and customer service issues within agreed SLAs

• Capture, analyze, and resolve reported incidents and problems

• Support system audits, changes, and system integration projects

• Perform system testing and site acceptance at customer locations

• Collaborate with product management and development teams on product improvements

• Travel domestically and internationally for training and client support

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in hardware/software support, preferably in mission-critical or Air Traffic Management environments

• Hands-on experience with HW/SW defect investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution

• Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow

• Familiarity with Linux, databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), networking (Cisco, Juniper), VoIP, and containerization (Docker)

• Knowledge of telecommunications protocols, command and control systems, and safety-critical environments

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Communications, or related discipline

• Ability to obtain and maintain at least NV1 Defence Security Clearance

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

• Flexibility to respond to urgent customer issues outside normal business hours
